One task. One timer.

Study rhythm

An illustrative GreenDots timer and progress view; values are examples, not user claims.

Share structure, not constant attention

Studying together works best when everyone knows when interaction is welcome. A short opening check-in creates accountability; silence during the timer protects attention; the break becomes the place for questions and encouragement.

Use a three-part session

Keep the ritual small enough that the group will repeat it.

  • State one concrete outcome each person wants from the block.
  • Start timers at the same time and mute nonessential notifications.
  • At the end, say what changed and choose whether to continue.

What GreenDots supports today

Today, each student can use the free GreenDots timer independently and compare routines through progress tracking after creating an account.

Synchronized shared focus sessions are coming soon. Until that experience is stable, GreenDots does not present it as an available feature.
